Our nighttime light-up event with 151 trees with brightly colored leaves in our Japanese garden already has started on November 18th. Please have a relaxing time after work enjoying our fresh farm vegetable dishes. This event will feature the pleasing music of Shuya Okino, a famous DJ and record producer in Japan, on December 8th.

This special nighttime light-up event will be held until December 10th, in which you can enjoy the brightly colored leaves everywhere in our Japanese garden, and in the fantastic reflection on the surface of our pond as well. Visit Happo-en when you think about having a fantastic autumn night. As you step through the gate of Happo-en, you will find an extraordinary experience for sure.

At our restaurant, Thrush Café, you can enjoy autumn’s harvest with their dishes which use fresh-off-the-farm vegetables from their partner farms, Kosaka Farm and others. For their dish of the month, they recommend their grass-fed beef dish with fresh turnips and burdock roots.
