At the MuSuBu STORE, you can experience Happo-en’s one-stop production firsthand from our cuisine and product development to e-commerce sales, as well as pop-up events with the goal of promoting and revitalizing communities, regions, while protecting sustainable agriculture for future generations.

As a new initiative, we have developed a new “meal kit” product. The menu for these “meal kits” were made in collaboration with local governments, producers, and host town partners all over the country and will be sold so that you can enjoy the wonderful flavors at home.

Five points of the newly developed “Meal Kit”

1. The development and sales of “Meal Kits” with a collaboration menu, that will help to promote local governments and support regional revitalization.

2. Test marketing with “MuSuBu STORE”.

3. Expansion of sales channels, such as “hometown tax” payment and wholesale sales.

4. Food support for residents in the form of personalized food.

5. Creation of new communication styles that will lead to regional revitalization.

1. The development and sales of “Meal Kits” with a collaboration menu, that will help to promote local governments and support regional revitalization.

The “meal kits” were developed as a new initiative that could be enjoyed from home, by incorporating a food menu that Happo-en has developed with local governments, producers, and host town partners from all over Japan.

By using local specialties and ingredients from host countries, we can offer meal kits that will help promote local governments and create a food legacy for host town exchanges.

The meal kits contain only the necessary ingredients in the required quantities, and each kit contains a completes meal. The ingredients are prepared and pre-cooked in advance (*except for some) so that you can enjoy at home quickly and easily. With the recipes included in the package, even those who are not good at cooking can easily enjoy the taste of local dishes.

2. Test marketing with “MuSuBu STORE”.

The developed meal kits can be test-marketed at the “MuSuBu STORE” our pop-up event space, “MuSuBu” on Platinum Street in Shirokanedai, Minato-ku, Tokyo.

After the completion of test marketing, the Happo-en production team will submit feedback to each municipality, including sale results and consumer responses. Based on this feedback, we will make proposals for further improvements and deployment of the developed meal kits.

3. Expansion of sales channels, such as “hometown tax” payment and wholesale sales.

Sales are not only limited to “MuSuBu STORE”; but wholesale sales are also possible at roadside stations of each local government. In addition, it is possible to register these kits as a hometown tax return gift through the local government. This of course will lead to the expansion of sales channels.

4. Food support for residents in the form of personalized food.

In response to the aging population, especially those in rural areas, and the increasing number of individual meals among the elderly, we can provide personalized meals that are low-sodium and allergy-friendly.

We will develop these meal kits as one of our food support initiatives that will be promoted not only for residents, but also for immigrants and people visiting the municipalities on vacation.

5. Creation of new communication styles that will lead to regional revitalization.

In order to promote the Meal Kits, the Happo-en Production Team will implement a one-stop-production food community event and hybrid pop-up store that is being developed online. It is through these online platforms and events that we will help to deepen the communication between residents, tourists, vacation goers, and food producers. This in turn will foster opportunities for consumers to help to support local governments and will lead to the development of tourism for the next generation.

If you would like to know more about the development and sales of these meal kits, please contact the “MuSuBu” team by phone or email.

■To corporate Entities – Future Production for Non-Contact Events

In the coming future, “MuSuBu” aims to implement a non-contact event so that our customers can enjoy our pop-up event with peace of mind. We are looking for partner companies that share this vision and are willing to contribute to the society as we introduce touchless payment services and delivery robots. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact the “MuSuBu” team by phone or email.
