Jugoya-chakai Marks the End of Summer and the Start of Autumn
The Owara Kaze-no-bon festival takes place every year from September 1 to 3 in the Yatsuo district of Toyama City in Toyama prefecture. A jugoya-chakai (full moon night tea party), featuring matcha green tea from Kyoto’s Maruhisa Koyama-en and Japanese sweets, will take place in the Mujoan teahouse erected in the garden for the occasion, where guests can observe the elegant dancing of the Kaze-no-bon festival. Meals featuring seasonal delicacies are offered at the Enju and Kochuan restaurants. Enjoy this tasteful entertainment for an autumn evening.
