Coffee gives us a moment to heal. However, behind the scenes, there are many challenges such as an unstable growing environment due to climate change, unstable markets, and other issues producers face. At Happo-en, we strive to achieve both deliciousness and sustainability through the coffee we serve.

At the Happo-en Thrush Café, we use naturally grown and organic ingredients in our dishes that are friendly to both the environment and your body. We started to wonder if we could make a greater contribution to society through not only food, but also through the coffee we serve. It was with this in mind that we began our collaboration with MI CAFETO Inc.

Mr. Yoshiaki Kawashima, President and CEO of MI CAFETO Co., Ltd., is known as the coffee hunter who travels the world in search of delicious coffee. At the same time, he is working to support coffee growers by creating a market for them so that they can continue to produce delicious coffee with peace of mind.

Mr. Kawashima once said that, “If the coffee industry were to change, it could help to solve some of the world's social and environmental problems”. These thoughts and initiatives are shared by our company, and since last year, all of the company’s restaurants have been using the original Happo-en blend, that was create in collaboration with by MI CAFETO Co., Ltd.
