What we can achieve with agriculture

We want to be a place that contributes to the happiness of the bride and groom, not only as a wedding venue, but to bring happiness to their lives in other ways. With this in mind, in the early 2000's we undertook a major reform regarding our use of food in our business. It was during this time that we came across naturally grown ingredients.

When we started implementing this concept into one of our restaurants, which was in a time when the term "organic" was still not widespread, we made many new discoveries. We came to learn how diverse our customer diets were as people with allergies, health related issues, as well as vegan and vegetarian started to visit our restaurant more and more.

Natural cultivation has taught us that being aware of what we eat is very important. Today, we have incorporated naturally cultivated foods in several restaurants, as well as our wedding courses.

In addition, we try to communicate and promote the value of natural farming throughout the year through our “FOODEDUTAINMENT” Project and bridal fairs.

The National Council of Agriculture and Food Cooperative for Natural Cultivation Party is able to create jobs for people with disabilities, while creating cultivation practices that makes food not only safe, but also secure. In 2018, Happo-en signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Council (hereinafter referred to as the "Natural Cultivation Party") to support their agricultural-food cooperation activities and to enhance the brand power of natural cultivation.

Our first collaboration event with the Natural Cultivation Party was the “ALL ATHLETE DINNER” in the summer of 2018.

By utilize the power of welfare in agriculture, we are able to grow products by natural cultivation without the use of pesticides and fertilizers, while reducing our waste by distributing our products at a reasonable price.

This kick-off event efforts are linked to our SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) GOAL, which was later adopted by the United Nations, to resolve climate change, protect the environment, while helping realize a peaceful society.
