With the diversification and globalization of food, there has been an increase in the need for Muslim-friendly food in business settings. After much trial and error, we have developed a Muslim-friendly menu that embodies Happo-en's mission of bringing OMOTENASHI to the world.
The number of restaurants serving Muslim-friendly food is increasing in Japan as well, however there are very few restaurants that offers Muslim-friendly food in a business setting. Happo-en's goal was not to simply create a menu that would be suitable for Muslim dietary needs, but to offer food that was visually appealing, entertaining and delicious for everyone at Happo-en’s restaurant, KOCHUAN, which is frequently used for business events.
While the process to become certified was very rigorous; from the procurement of ingredients to the management of cooking utensils, nevertheless we were able to create a welcome banquet meal suitable for Muslim diets that conveys the essence of Japan and the four seasons.
There is no greater feeling of accomplishment or more meaningful experience than seeing our guests happy faces every time we served them.
- Halal Certified Wagyu Beef Steak
- Our wagyu beef is slaughtered certified Halal butchers. The received meat is then cooked in a special pan used solely for preparing halal meat. To allow you to enjoy the taste of the meat itself, we only salt and pepper for seasoning.
- Garnished Vegetables
- For Muslims who tend not to like raw vegetables, this meal is served with seasonal vegetables sautéed or fried.
- Halal Certified Soy Sauce Ponzu
- Halal certified soy sauce and ponzu (citrus fruit juice) sauce is served as an option for extra favor. You can enjoy juicy meat in a refreshing way.
